Johnson Iron’s custom metal awnings, siding panels, and architectural covers are fabricated specifically for these conditions, using materials and details that perform for decades without compromise.
What We Build
Our metal awning and cover work ranges from simple residential entry canopies to large commercial shade structures and full building siding systems. We work closely with architects and general contractors to ensure our fabricated elements integrate seamlessly with the overall building design. All pieces are fabricated in our Truckee shop and installed by our own crew.

Every awning and cover we build is engineered for Tahoe’s snow loads. We coordinate with structural engineers when required and ensure all connections meet local building department requirements. Our in-house boom truck allows us to install covers and canopies on structures that would be difficult to access with standard equipment.
